WSTA AGM

The West Sussex Teachers Association, which represents 4000 teachers in West Sussex has become a founder member of the Steve Sinnott Foundation. The aim of the foundation is to campaign for a decent school for every child worldwide. This is Millenium Goal 2 of the United Nations and a cause Steve held dear. Steve Sinnott was the leader of the National Union of Teachers who tragically died in 2008.

The WSTA has backed the ?Classrooms for Kenya? project organised by staff and students of the Weald School which aims to provide permanent, safe classrooms for Kenyan children

Steve Sinnott's widow Mary and Graham Clayton of the Steve Sinnott Foundation attended the WSTA Annual General Meeting in Arundel on 28th February.
